Sony Launched Its Handheld Video Game System in Japan: PS Vita

U.S. consumers won’t get to buy it until February, but Sony starts selling a new handheld video game console, the PlayStation Vita (pronounced “vee-tah”, not “vy-tah”) from 17th December 15, 2011 in Japan. Sony Downs Facebook Games & Other Multiplayer Games

It is being reported from Foster City of California that adding to the now nearly two-week-long downing of its PlayStation Network online game service and Qriocity media streaming services, Sony (NYSE: SNE) has now additionally taken down the Facebook games and massively multiplayer titles operated by its Sony Online Entertainment unit. Sony Company has reportedly mentioned in a note on the company’s official website that “We have had to take the SOE service down temporarily. In the course of our investigation into the intrusion into our systems we have discovered an issue that warrants enough concern for us to take the service down effective immediately.” Sony said a malicious intrusion into its network two weeks
